"We all have a mother. Mother may mean a human female in three different ways and degrees:

1. One who biologically gave birth to a child;

2. One who has raised or is raising a child or children;

3. One who has nurtured or is nurturing one or more humans beings physically, emotionally and spiritually.

So, what does it mean to choose to be a mother in the 21st century, especially in a country like the USA? I would like to explore the meaning and value of being a mother, of motherhood in the 21st century on this Sunday.
